- 1,000 word limit. Have Karlyn evaluate your opening paragraphs or a section you're struggling with.
- If you'd like a critique on a longer manuscript, you may save $10 on the cost of your order.
- One free (or $10 savings) offer per person, please.

For e-mail orders:
- Use a 12-point font such as Arial, Courier, or New Century Schoolbook.
- Be sure to keep a copy of your work.
- If you're ordering a critique on a manuscript longer than 1,000 words, please see online payment option below.
E-mail your story to:
For "snail mail" (US Post Office) orders:
- Use a typewriter or a computer printer. Please do not send hand-written documents.
- Use one inch margins on all four sides. (Side margins of 1-1/4" are okay.)
- Double space.
- Number pages consecutively.
- Use a 12-point font such as Arial, Courier, or New Century Schoolbook. You want to end up with approximately 250 words per page. This is what editors will expect from you.
- Be sure to keep a copy of your work in case of loss.

Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of your story and your critique. If you're ordering a critique on a manuscript longer than 1,000 words, please include a check or money order made out to Constructive Critiques. (Use price list below.)

Add $6 for each additional 1000-word block of text (including any partial block of text):
